Atomic
Aids Kmart Recruitment Effort
Kmart Corporation has emerged from reorganization
determined to reestablish itself as a retail force. The company
has developed a new positioning that will allow it to take
advantage of America's changing demographic, and avoid
the jumble of retailers crowding the "discount department
store"
category. Recruiting, particulary of management, is central
to the success of this plan.
Atomic, working closely with
the Michigan-based comany's HR team, helped develop the
message and produced the vehicles to attarct new recruits.
Kmart's positive, new message has been very well-received,
winning over potential hires as the company rolls out its new
vision nationally and world-wide.
